It is really quite breathtaking
To see the machine operate in it's entirety
Once a step has been taken back
And objectivity can be found
No longer is it catastrophically beautiful
No more is it as efficient as you originally thought
You see the machine for what it is
And what it has always tried to be
You see the innately human aspects of a human creation
Making it liable to manipulation and influence
You see the consistently subtle signs of faulty features
And are disgusted by them
How daft you must feel to have been fooled
By such a heap of twisted gears and rusted metal
Corrupt and worn by its own indulgence
Barely able to hold its own weight in your learned eyes
No longer is it something to love and respect
No more is it a necessary evil to support and accept
